Membership

  • Freelancers and remote workers are drawn to coworking spaces as they are typically working for a range of clients and need to have somewhere to regularly commit to working from which doesn’t involve them working from home, having to commute, or use a coffee shop.

It’s also ideal for working parents who want to have a break from their home environment and want the flexibility of using a space during hours that suit them. If you can only use the space from 10am-2pm, that is completely fine.

Small business owners can really benefit from using coworking spaces if they’ve got a small team, but don’t want to hire an office permanently. Occupying a few hot desks gives them the flexibility to work as a team, or come and go without worrying about a long-term lease.

Ventilation: The Epping Connection has really good natural ventilation with windows at both ends of the office and in the meeting rooms to allow for air to pass through the office. We ventilate regularly during the day for 20 mins each time.

Desk Cleaning and Common Areas: As you’d expect, desks are cleaned before and after use, and common areas will be wiped down regularly during the day. There will also be wipes available for you to use as needed.

Hand Hygiene: We also have hand sanitisers throughout the office and in the toilets. There is antibacterial soap in the toilets and the kitchen.

Personal Responsibility: If you are booked to come in to The Epping Connection and have signs of Covid-19 (new and persistent cough, fever or loss of taste/smell), or other cold and flu symptoms. then please stay home until you are well enough to come back to us.

  • Unfortunately no. The closest options are either Cottis Lane car park or Bakers Lane car park. Both are pay and display provided by MiPermit.

Technology

  • The core principle with coworking is you have complete flexibility in using the space. That means you bring your own technology into the space, connect to the superfast WiFi and off you go.

A hot desk means that it’s free and open for use by anyone. So, you take your kit home with you at the end of each day (or store in one of our secure lockers at TEC).

  • The TV’s in the meeting rooms support HDMI connections. They are Smart TV’s so can also connect through smart connections on devices.

In our video call booths, we have monitors. We stock adapters as needed for different devices and laptops.
