Host your next event at The Epping Connection

Here at The Epping Connection, we love our space being used to host events. As a flexible coworking space, we’re very used to hosting different events. Here’s the range of ways we have been used, and other ways we’d love to be used.

Every week, we host the Epping Forest Business Group. This is a group of local business owners in Epping Forest who come together for business networking. The groups meets every Thursday morning from 7:30am-9am, and you can find out more about the group here. What I love about the EFBG is the way the group promote each others business, find natural ways to do business with one another, and get really great referrals. It’s the best of business networking, while being friendly, inclusive and has real tangible impact. As well as the regular meetings, EFBG has also held things like wine tasting events in our space which was great fun!

Earlier this year, we rented out the entire space for some filming! That was pretty exciting. A director needed to do an office shoot for his film, and they used our space! They had a full film crew and actors on site for the day. The film isn’t released yet, but I’ll be sure to shout about it when it is! This was a great use of our space, as it filled a great need for the film, and our space if ideal for such things.

At TEC, we of course hold our own events, and regularly, too! We’ve held open mic nights, movie nights, game nights and Christmas markets! It’s been a great way to showcase the many ways an event can be held in our space. We are strong believers in building community, and finding great ways for people to come together in fun and easy ways. And over the course of recent years, it’s not always easy to get into London, so using our space for events is a great way to do something local.

In May, we’ll be hosting a different kind of networking for learning and development professionals. These professionals come together regularly at coworking sites across the UK for a day called #LnDCoWork. L&D professionals can often be in solo roles with little opportunity to get to know others in the field, and be able to test ideas, talk about the work, and develop content or resources for their consultancy.

So hopefully this gives an idea of how TEC is already at the forefront of building community and hosting events in Epping. We’d love to also be used for the following purposes:

  • Hold your book launch in our space. We know there are writers in Epping Forest, and a space to have a book reading, with your readers and potential readers is ideal to bring that group together.

  • Looking to launch a digital product? We are fully setup with portable screens, great WiFi, and friendly space to host your product launch. We know how important it is for potential customers to look and play with digital products, and our coworking space will enable exactly that to happen.

  • Also great for physical products! Jewellery, fashion, home products, tupperware, and more! Epping Forest doesn’t have enough spaces where you can bring an interested group of people together. Our space comfortably holds up to 40 people, and that’s a great way to build your customer base and test your products in the market, gain immediate feedback and boost your sales pipeline.
